The grade level meetings this year with Krista and Tina have been INVALUABLE to me and my students this year! These ladies have each provided many many beneficial ideas to use in the classroom. My students have been so excited for me to come back each time I attended on of these meetings with some new "ideas" to show them. What a true learning experience this has been.I have incorporated all of the materials that were given to us to use in many different ways. The hands-on materials are GREAT!! (I also appreciate the many hours that have gone into making ALL of the many manipulatives that we've been given!!!) What a joy to be able to take these manipulatives back to the classroom and use the next day!!

I have received so many wonderful hands on applications which I am using and will continue to use within my classroom. This has truly been the most worthwhile training I have had provided by the board of education.

I know my students have learned more because of the info from these trainings.My kids love the games they can play in groups and on the computer. Without coming to this training I would not be doing the hands on and computer centers in my room. Thanks and keep up the good work. This was the best yet!
Anonymous said... I have started using more technology with math and other subjects. I use the interwrite when teaching math almost daily. I really like knowing that our county homepage already has interwrite lessons and turning point activities ready for us to use.
Anonymous said... We have really gotten so much from these trainings that we have used in our classroom. Although we have mainly discussed math specifically, the applications of what we have learned this year really have applied across all content areas in with our students. The specific math games, ideas, materials have been wonderful, but we have also learned so much about assesment, developmentally appropriate instructional focus and much more. I think we are more familiar/comfortable/knowledgable about our math curriculum than we have ever been. Learning new ways to use technology in the classroom, has been a God sent... I am a better teacher because of Tina & Krista. Thanks!
